untitled-3

Well, it's been a long time since my last blog and we have seen unprecedented times!I do hope that you and your families have managed to come through the coronavirus thus far unscathed and both physically and mentally intact.Sadly too many have not. I myself know of one person who has died from the virus and of acquaintances of friends and family who have taken their own lives. It truly has been a tough time for many and for some, including personal Friends of mine, it still is. I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in February via c-section (pictured above). It was just as i was able to get out and about again that lockdown hit, so I feel I have had about 6 weeks longer than anyone else! :)He has kept me busy along with home schooling my 6 year old son.Of course i had to stop working when lockdown hit and i have only just started working again taking photos of babies, children and families as these take place outdoors on location. I have not been able to restart my newborn sessions within people's homes at the moment due to the covid restrictions. I am not yet sure when I will be starting these again. I am very pleased to be able to get back to work and looking forward to meeting new families :). I was very disappointed to not be able to do my usual bluebell shoots and it is unlikely I will be doing any lavender shoots this year either :(However I am here and very excited to receive your enquiries and take some fabulous photos of your babies, toddlers and young children for memories that will last a lifetime. Here are a few images from my first shoot back. They are a little different to my usual style of photography as they are more posed and it was a large family shoot that also involved alot of adults but this is the third time I have photographed members of this family, and so we had quite a good rapport built already which meant all involved were that little bit more relaxed.I am looking forward to my next shoot of two siblings which will be very much back to my more natural and candid styleI really hope to be meeting you and your family for a photo shoot soon.In the meantime take care :)
